I had better quilt hubbies wild animals quilt this week. His b.d. is fast approching and I need something special for it besides making a lazagna dinner for him. He is the type of guy that has everything he needs and this is the only thing that would make him happy.

I am also going to fm quilt a wall hanging called, "Outstanding in his Field". A scarecrow/ fall wall hanging.

I have three pants. a jacket and seven shirts for sarah's winter wardrobe. I bought the patterns and fabric for. (my 4 year old niece)

The X bag from the black orential fabric I showed earlier this week.

And finally ... An assortment of UFO's that are very near completion.

Well, I'm working on these appliqué blocks that I bought at a silent auction for $5. I just finished the top this weekend. I need to piece a back for it and then quilt it. I'm going to use a variegated thread with all those beautiful colors in it and mimic the appliqué in the plain block. I already made the stencil for it.

Thanks for starting this post, it is so interesting to read!

1- make a Christmas and birthday "quilt" for my Mother's old lady quilt.
I posted pics of the quilt here, the lady on the quilt holds seasonal small quilts: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/26776.page

2- making my One Couch Quilt quilt for a staff quilt show, and local guild show both in the spring 2 weeks apart. I describe it here:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/15/22092.page

3- making a Challenge quilt for the guild show, have an idea, but the rules say a 11X8.5" landscape - and my thought I want to do has been designed in my head as a yard square or so wall quilt....hmmm....

4- making a quilt for my nephew who will be going to Bible College next year: http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/26923.page

5- 6- 7-....... I know I will think of another million things before I get these done! And I will probably end of doing a few Christmas things, but haven't even started to think about that yet! UUGGHHH!!!!!!! :?

I just finished my Christmas practice quilt which is my first real quilt ever. I'm still embroidering daisy blocks, but slowly because right now sewing is more fun. As soon as I finished my Christmas quilt, I started making me some Sunbonnet Sue pot holders. I have the fabric bought for a no-sew fleece blanket for son #2 for Christmas............and yet I'm still on here admiring all the pretties instead of working!

I'm so sorry for your poor little fingers, but the quilt is beautiful and the extra effort of doing the embroidery by hand is very special.
