Wow, can't imagine drafting that one out in EQ. I will freely admit I am a total novice with the s/w. I just haven't spent enough time playing with it but even if I had, don't think I would have attempted trying to draw it in EQ. I really like the machine embroidered centers. I also think this block would make a very attractive quilt with each hexi treated as a separate block with sashing and not having the interwoven look.

That’s a neat quilt! Using the same fabric for the thin blue inner border and the binding was a great idea (I hope you don’t mind if I steal that idea sometime) and I really like the way you quilted it. The more I look at it the more things I see that I like. I think I’d have a hard time parting with it.
