    Have you ever done stippling by hand? It' s a lot of work but I think it is worth to try....

    (The measurement tape you see is metric.)

    that's a lot of little stitches! nice even ones too! I'd like to see the rest of the quilt.

    Well, I think it takes me 1,5 to 2 hours.
