Don't worry, it's okay. Next time while it is on the design wall taake a picture of it. You will be surprised at what shows up, when the eyes want see it.

I really don't see anything wrong with it.

I made this same design and it takes a lot of concentration to get everything pointed the right way. Don't fret! I have a small design board (12" x 12") that I keep by my sewing machine and I lay pieces of the blocks out. Then I double check the picture, then double check again befote I sew everything together.

It gives it a "top" and "bottom" look, like you did it on purpose! I know what you mean, but truly, everyone would think you did it on purpose!

It's beautiful. Don't worry about it. Every one of mine has something like that. I think it is because we are so focused on completion of the project. And God wants to remind us only He makes perfection...

Well, I had to hunt to find it, too. If anyone else ever notices it ( and I wouldn't tell them), just explain that it is this that makes the quilt uniquely yours!!

it took me a couple of minutes to find it. One of the first books on quilting that I bought talked about mistakes.and the Amish would purposely put a mistake in their quilts as only GOD is perfect so that is my reason mistake

Me too. I think it's beautiful and I wouldn't want it changed.
