Wild Whirlwind in Red and Black...quilted by Kevin

I pieced this quilt for a customer, and he picked out the really wild red batiks I just happened to have in my stash. I could never figure out what I would ever use them in, but I think they worked well in this quilt. Kevin quilted an all-over flames meander in black (kind of hard to see)...customer was happy, so I'm happy

Nice. I'm wanting to do a quilt soon for my son who is turning 21. I was thinking reds and blacks too. Man quilt. LOL

    Beautiful quilt!

I made up the quilt pattern using EQ6...using a 9-inch whirlwind block. Quilt size is approximately 58 x 58 (including borders).

    Hope this helps

That's exactly what I was thinking! What a strong, masculine quilt... & beautiful to boot! The quilting is fabulous, too! Good job all the way around!
