Wonderful quilt. I would wait 2 years for a quilt like that.

It's beautiful. Thinking how good it would look on our bed at the lake. Hmmm..........

I agree. I have been 3 years trying to finish hand quilting a nine patch. Wonder if I'll ever get it done. Obviously it is not something I enjoy doing very much!! Yours is beautiful.

What a great quilt! I looked at the picture before reading your post and thought "how Adirondack" that quilt looks! Lo and behold, you write they live in the Adirondacks! They will love it and it is perfect for any home up there. People who live up there really get into the whole Adirondack theme. I am working a flannel that has some of that fish fabric in it! And I absolutely ADORE your border fabric. You did a great job.

BTW, I just have to comment on your tag line. Let me know when you find that job, it is my dream job too! Check out my profile some time. LOL

Oh I do love this quilt. I can imagine snuggling up under this on a cold winters night. I bet your son and his wife are crazy about it. The time you put into it has been so worth it, a real treasure for sure. Thanks for sharing with us.
