Default August Donations

I turned in two quilts and an afghan today to the cancer center. I was reluctant to relinquish this Hunters Star... I just love it. But I have no room to store more quilts at my apartment I always put a special label on the back. The backing fabric was too gold, so I used the wrong side of it. The sad part of it is that the cancer center gives them all away so quickly... each new patient gets one. I forgot to take a picture of the afghan after the squares were sewn together.

What a special thing you are doing. I am sure they are loved by the recipients. Cancer is so scary.

I would have had a hard time parting with the hunters star too-Really nice! Love the fabric you used on the disappearing 9 patch. I am sure the patients are grateful for your generosity :-)
