    Winter quilt

This was a pattern I made for my son in law for Christmas. Told my daughter, I probably resowed more seams in this project than in all others combined. Besides adjusting sizes to account for differences in the panel from the pattern, I used directional fabric that had to be very carefully placed, upside down trees just did not work. It was quilted by a long arm quilter I have used previously. I really love her work and attention to details.

It is perfection! You did a great job even though you said you had to do seams over. It certainly looks like the conquered all the different sizes you had to work with. It is beautiful.

You sound just like me this Christmas...OH NO the trees! Unfortunately I'm still working on it and I'm SO looking forward to starting the next project. I now wish I had sent this one to my longarmer...just a few more weeks to complete the top-stitching/binding and off to my sister it goes, can't wait, lol!
