Default wip~a quilt with matching quilted curtains

I'm working on making two panels for curtains that are quilted with a matching quilt for a friend. I'm finally starting to cut my blocks out. Seems like it took me forever to get this far. Now that everyone is getting over those dreaded colds, pneumonia, and ear infections...maybe I can get this finished very soon. I am so excited to see how this is coming out.
She wanted the curtains and quilt to match another quilt. It's pretty close. I couldn't find the exact color of batiks that was in the other one, but this will go with it and it has the earthy colors she is looking for.

Very attractive choice of colors for curtains. What does the patterm look like? How will they hang?

Doesn't it feel good to be back at your machine? Your block is looking pretty.

I will make tabs on the top that velcro to the back. She has a wooden curtain rod that is permanent and that way she will be able to take them down to wash. four of these will go together and will form another square.

So are you saying that the curtains are also quilted with batting too? for warmth, or looks?....very interesting. I love the colors.

Yes, the curtains will be quilted with batting in them. She is going more for the look of it.
