Default WIP - Hearts Abloom

I have been working on this for 3 weeks. Pick the fabrics, change the fabrics, pick the fabrics again. Make my templates, mark the fabric, spend three days cuttng out ALL the pieces. THEN place and pin the pieces on the squares. THEN applique for DAYS and piece the 6.5" squares into 12.5" squares. LOTS and LOTS of ironing...and then I spilled water on a square and the red thread began to bleed (mental note to buy more color catchers). THEN I learned how to strip on a diagonal and attache triangles. Yes, I used my seam ripper a few times.

So this is how far I have gotten. I will be cutting more fabric tomorrow for the borders and hopefully get them attached tomorrow.

I have used Black, White and Red on this top. Color is not great on my pics. This is quilt top number 7.
