I got the borders on today and hung it so I could think about the quilting. My usual idea for a wide border is something like a feathered garland. I am wondering whether I should try quilting beauties in that border. Ideas? The 3 narrow borders, I think I'll SITD.

Sorry, I can't get back far enough to shoot the whole thing in my tiny house. Also, the wide border is really an old gold.

Wow, that's gorgeous! Your border really offsets the center...I just love it! Feathers on the outer border and SITD on the inner ones sounds perfect. I love how Charismah quilted this one. Maybe it will give you ideas.

What a beautiful quilt. I love feathers in a border. Whatever you do will be wonderful.

I love your quilt. I just saw one similar to it at my local quilt show this past weekend. What they did was, a line with a loop in it that went up each triangle and then back down with another loop in a slightly different spot. They used gold metallic thread on all of it. Hope this makes sense.
