Default WIP Scrappy stars

This is a WIP. I am hand piecing it (yes I must be crazy ) I don't have a big stash but I had a lot of bits of blue (I think I really like blue LOL) and I wanted to put them to good use. I seem to have more time to hand piece (I take it everywhere almost) so I thought I would make a scrappy sort of quilt. I might even try and hand quilt this one. This is my progress so far, thanks for looking.

Beautiful! Your really have some pretty blues in your scrap stash, and your piecing is so precise. It is going to be a lovely quilt.

Fabulous. It is amazing how much hand piecing can be done when we are "waiting" at an appointment, etc.

that is coming together beautifully! i love having a hand project to take along- for those (sitting/waiting) times....it is amazing how much you can get done in short periods of time with just a little organization (& motivation)
i love your blue scraps---i need to finish up a blue UFO so i can (play) in those scraps- i don't dare get into them yet- if i do i would use something i need for the ufo---your blue & white is very INSPIRATIONAL! i look forward to seeing the finished product !

I don't think you are crazy. Fons and Porter showed that pattern the other week ans they set it up strips diagonally so there would be no Y seams.

This will, indeed be a fine quilt. I look forward to seeing it finished.
