Just want to share because I have been so quiet the last few days and haven't shared a photo at all  Actually - aside from my youngest - I don't get feedback most days from anyone but ya'll!

This is #2 of the raffle quilts I am making for the soccer club I help run. Its 36X40 - meant to be used to sit on at the soccer field - I am making them different sizes - little for the younger players about 35X50; picnic size 36x40; lap quilt and then a twin size one...

I don't know what color to make the binding - this has black; green; white; light grey; black polka dot and the soccer print.

**I serged the edges because the white fabric and light grey fabric I used seemed thin to me - while I didn't have issues when I sewed the squares I was afraid when I went to attach the back and front the weight might make it pull - the binding will cover the serger thread - although I can't believe I forgot to take the red spool off!

I have to finish quilting and put the binding on.

I'm thinking either black or the polka dot.....

Front

up close of front - why is there always one row where the squares are not quite matched?

back is solid black - I like the way the quilting is showign through - using clear on the front and black thread on the back

I'm not sure. Maybe if you get a sample piece and lay beside it, it might be easier to decide..

Very nice and I think the polka dots would make a nice binding.
