I love houses. I found this pattern in a magazine. I am not sure which one. I enlaged it and made the little quilt.

Remember the the embroidery bedspreads kits?.My friend gave me one some years ago and I painted almost all of it with fabric paint.

I cut the flowers out and made a collage aroung the quilted house and then did scripples with glitter writer paint. I didn't sew the flowers but glued them down with the writers.

This one is the New York Beauty I found in a Fons and Porter mag. I use the decorative fabrics. I had some samples of it with lots of huge flowers.

Oh yes, there is no other way lol. The pattern was in the mag and I made a Freezer paper patter and used it for all the blocks.

The quilt in the mag was made with Pat Sloan's fabric and I fell in love with it but couldn't get it, of course. As you know, once the fabric is gone, it's gone.

Well I just had to have this fabric. I searched the web and found bits and pieces of it here and there ...I even found some at Herrchernan's. I manage to get all I needed. Some I had to pay the price but it more that made up for the ones I got that were on the discontinued bin.

In the meantime I couldn't wait, so I made this one. I will do a king size with the Pat Sloan tho..Heaven knows I got it all lol.
