Default World with two Dollys

I tease my dear daughter in-law for months while she is pregnaunt with each little dress block. She has a girl, but I fell in love with the first brown hair Dolly quilt. I ask for the quilt back while making another one a racer fast speed, night and day to compensate with the guilt I have to borrow back the quilt .. entering original in a quilt show.

Christening day arrives. I have black hair dolly to replace and even threw in a few dresses to personalize.

But these Dolly quilts have grown a piece of my heart. Each little outfit was thought, fabric choices, outfits updated for second one, christening and Christmas were special for one.

Fun quilts to do.. TIME consuming and loved as I pass them on.

World with these two Dolly quilts is brighter. I enjoyed each stitch !

I bought this pattern just a couple of weeks ago because my sister and I have grandaughters I hope we get it done before they are too old to enjoy it. So glad to see that someone else has done it, it makes it more attainable. Love them-great job!
