I have been planning on adding another border of the orange to the outside of this quilt, but now that I have this much done, I really like the look of it like this. But I think it may need the orange border along with the purple.

What do you think? Would you add the orange border, or just use the orange for the binding?

It looks complete and very nice without the border. I actually think in this case the border takes away because it becomes a vocal point. The color really pops.

I think just orange for the binding sounds like a great idea.

IMHO - I like the quilt "as is" without the orange border. Seems like the wide orange border is all I see on the second photo and it takes my eye away from the beauty of the quilt (which btw, looks like 3D in pic #1). I would use the orange as a binding, however, but either the orange or the purple would be good for binding.

I think the orange binding would be a nice touch. Don't think it needs anything else.

The quilt is 3-D. The orange triangles are prairie points!

No orange border, just orange binding. :-)

IMHO, don't put on the organge border. if it were mine, I think I would bind it in green-the orange is sufficient in the body of it-in facat, I think I would make a green scrappy binding using left over greens from the quilt. It is a cracker of a quilt!!
