Oh my that is beautiful, can't take my eyes off of it! I love this and now I want to make one, I have some perfect striped fabric just for such an occasion. I'll have to invest in the book, thank you so much for sharing. :thumbup:

LOL - this one went together quickly for me - I've had a couple of days for just sewing!!! Got the fabric on the 29th, along with pattern and material for a quilt my daughter is working on. (I am a lucky mom - she likes experimenting with recipes and she likes sewing!).

Spent a few hours each day since then on this quilt. I did spend time making sure things were lined up well, and also a couple of hours trimming the blocks down so they were all nice and square and the same size. This is a new 'best practice' for me - soooo much easier than easing and stretching blocks that were supposed to be the same size but aren't quite. :mrgreen:
