so, the front was a jelly roll, how did you pick the fabric for the back? your color combination looks so soft and cozy, and your quilting is tighter so it makes the quilt look vintage-it's beautiful

Your quilt is beautiful and I hope it raises a heap of money for your cause!

About 3 years ago I ordered the jelly roll and 4 of the fabrics in yardage, one was 3 yards, the others just one. So when I decided to do this I didn't have enough of the 3 yard piece for the back so I decided to do it that way. I did some mis-measuring on the center piece so kinda flew by the seat of my pants towards the end. Hmmmm! Don't we all do that?!?!? I have absolutely no idea what the original plan for the fabric was. Since I am a new long arm quilter this was actually an experiment in whether I could actually pull it off or not. Now I am psyched to do more. Thanks everyone for all the compliments. I can't wait to see what it brings in. I told her it should bring in at least $150, hopefully a lot more than that.
