When this fabric collection came out in 2008, I jumped all over it. I made this quilt for my daughter for the holidays that year.

the Bargello section was the only way I could think of to get all the fabrics and colorways to "work" together.

The "all you need is love" rainbow print and the overall Yellow submarine print were used as the backing.

This is the only time I've used invisible nylon thread to quilt anything, and I was wrestling with it the entire time (it would break constantly!). I had my Beatle's collection playing on my iPod hooked up to the stereo while I quilted though. That was nice.

Your quilt is great. Isn't if fun to just let your creative side take over and come up with a design that just works. I know what you mean about the invisible thread. A friend suggested using a size 18 needle and it helped just a bit.

That is really cute. The Beatles were just a few years ahead of my music listening time, but to many their music is completely timeless.

My teenage daughter is in love with them. It's one of the few things we can agree on :D
