Wow in person this quilt is not as "busy" as looks in picture. My daughter plays an online game with friends in other states and over the years one has become like my long lost adopted son. Although he's grown he is simply in love with halloween. This is his birthday gift.
First I knew he'd love the people with pumkin heads based on his game so I built around that. I bought the black and orange dot and just planned something with that and border fabric. Nothing really looked good. So I gave up and last week bought the pumpkin and green fabrics and still couldn't get anything I liked. Well once I put them all together in a simple 4 patch I liked all the colors. So the result was simple but I think he'll love it. Then last night I decided to go all the way and did the FMQ in lime green. Back is white with black and orange polka dots.
