So happy I bumped into this info today on the quilted furniture I posted not long ago. Some of you may be interested in either seeing more or buying. The designer is:

Patricia Wood & Company, 120 E. Main St., Harbor Springs, MI 49740

    231-526-9691 Store
    231-526-9692 Fax
    231-526-8868 Design Studio

    Email: [email protected]

The furniture can be seen at an undisclosed shop in Harbor Springs, MI. Don't know any of the prices; you'd have to contact them through one of the numbers above. It looks like this furniture is for sale in all the major cities in the U.S. I knew you would love seeing more of the furniture not only for inspiration but just to enjoy the beauty of it. It is something else to see!!

I forgot .... I have one more picture and it's for all "hosta" lovers as the chair is upholstered with hosta leaves!! (I'm a hosta collector!!) Here's the pic:

Also, I can't believe I bumped into this again! Never in a thousand years did I ever think of finding it again. I was in a hurry the day I downloaded the first two pics in Part 1 and didn't have time to get any info. I had just remembered they were in a shop in California and it was an antique store or mattress store selling them and I thought the price was $1800 or $3300. Too long ago. But here is the last picture. Enjoy.

    hosta lovers' dream come true

What adorable furniture! I am sure the prices reflect the work that goes into a piece made like that! I don't think I would let anyone sit on it if I owned it!

So, if anyone is wondering what to get me for birthday, anniversary, Christmas, Mother's Day, or just because you like me....I'll take one of those chairs or sofas. Not picky on which one, I like them all. Just thought I'd toss that out there for ya. lol

they are pretty I just hope they did those quilts specifically for the furniture and they weren't some families heirlooms! If they were, shame on the family for not keeping them in the family. It just looks like so much work went into the quilting to have it end up a chair!

No, I don't think it would be hard at all! I know I could do with one as I love to recycle things. I really think they use quilts that have no further needs like cutter quilts. Also, they had a picture of a lady that sells vintage fabrics and I associated her with their business as their main source for getting their vintage fabrics used in the upholstering! Also, there are plenty of DIY networks on the web that you could easily reupholster one yourself. Be sure and post pics! We'd love to see!

I bet the prices are good from the quilting end and the upholstering end! I know I wouldn't let anyone set on it if I owned it either!

I'm trading hubby a chair for a chair- mine is a regular chair- he needs the straight back and seat height. the trade is from my antique furniture in the guest room. It's faded blue velvet- wonder what I could transform it into????

Maybe some orphan blocks I have around here.....
