Here's a quilt I made and quilted for my sis-in-law and her husband for their 25 wedding anniversary. Quilt has wool batting (YUMMY!). This is the first quilt I used wool in, since they raise sheep, it seemed to fit. I now buy it by the roll. It quilts nicely, and is soft-soft-soft! I hear that it also washes up well.

Great colors! What pattern did you use. Is wool batting heavy?

The pattern is called 'Happy to be Scrappy'. I'm trying to find the magazine that it was in. It's been at least two years ago.

Wool is actually a very light but fluffy batting. It's perfect for the South, since it breathes very well, and is great for summer quilts. I love the texture that it gives, and it is SOOOO soft! It's a dream to quilt on, and I'm a cotton girl. The info I have on it is that there is very little to no shrinkage.
