that's a very cool quilt... How creative of you to have saved your selvages for so long, I wouldn't have considered it at all except that I've seen more selvages used in scrappy quilts over this past year... before that, I threw all my small trimmings away.

What a fantastic use of selvages! I must remember to leave some of the color part on my selvages when I cut them off. Thanks for that idea!

Did you cut a square of purple and then sew the selvages onto one side of the square? If so, I'm assuming that side of the block is 2 layers now...the purple fabric and the selvages?

Just trying to figure it out so I can copy it!
