    Zig Zag Salvage Quilt

I finished the quilt last week. I have been collecting salvage strips for about 10 years.
The salvage edges were cut with an additional 1 to 2 inches so the fabric would show.

Yes, quilt as you go and joined by sashing strips front and back at same time.

I recommend trying a small project, like a pin cushion, first to see if you are cutting the strips wide enough to show up the fabric.

Nice selvage quilt. I save and selvages but haven't done anything this large yet. I could I guess because I have two big trash bags of selvages saved up now.
