Wonder why it didn't sell right away ;)

I wonder how long it took her to make it. It's gorgeous.

You can charge as much as you like, but having someone pay that price is a different matter. I would say good luck .

You can price your quilt at any price but did it SELL?

RkayD 02-16-2011 05:38 PM

Mine would never go for that...mine are meant to be used and that is art. Good Luck to them! I read somewhere ~ can't remember where ~ that someone made a Crazy Quilt and it sold for over $17,000. Way to go!

....and the size is a whopping 44x45. Geeze!!

You only need to sell one.

That quilt is a piece of art. The seller sees it as such. You never know, it will probably sell for somewhere around there. It only take one unique buyer that just has to have it. I know I don't make my quilts as artwork - because I'm a quilter not an artist. The art quilts still amaze me. Wish I had the gift. But I just make quilts to be used, warmed and cuddled. Can't do that with paint. I wish them much luck.
