Just like Someone Kicked my butt Right into a cactus patch! I ran out of my background fabric somewhere in Mexico. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Or Does anyone know where I can get more of this fabric I wish I could tell you more about the fabric but I have used every shred of it trying to have enough for this quilt. So I don't have the edge that had the name or company or anything. Have a look see what you think...I know I know I am a mess I apologize :)

You don't have any left over at all or now enough? If not enough, could you make your scrappy Texas squares a little bigger?

Another idea since I reread your message. How about two corners gold and two corners another color.

A suggestion: take fabric from parallel horzontally & vertically to the straight edges of the east, west & southeast quadrants of the state. Then replace those areas with fabric in the same tone. Will create a shaded outline and will provide you with enough of your green fabric to finish the southwest quadrant of Texas. (Do the same parallel fabric in the southwest quadrant as you finish it out)

Can u see that bottom right corner I was using every inch to make it strech that is suppose to be one whole piece of fabric...not a millions sewn together bits...I am suprised to make it this far...now I am so close that I don't want to chunk it in a UFO Bucket...but that is where its headed...

How about taking the ecru off the bottom and using a blue to represent water?

It looks alot like moda odessa. If its not the same you might be able to sub with this one also moda swirls could be another sub.
