Just breaking news here that there has been a 6.3 Earthquake in New Zealand! Epicentre in Christchurch!! Hope everyone is safe! Sending thoughts and prayers to all those involved! Just shown pics of buckled roads and damage to the Cathedral some people trapped.

Oh no. 6.3 is pretty big and to have the epicenter in such a densely populated area, this could be terribly devastating. Prayers for the citizens of Christchurch!

My heart is breaking -- had the privilege of visiting Christchurch 4 years ago it is a beautiful city-- praying for everyone.

I just read about it and was going to post. What a tragedy - yet another among so many this year all over. I had the privilege of visiting beautiful Christchurch and the cathedral and I'm so sad. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone.

The news from New Zealand is not good. many people trapped, the police are expecting multiple fatalities, the city has been devestated. There have been quite a few rescues and the emergency services are working to rescue many more. I have heard from Gal and they are all safe and well.
