Very interesting. Pity it doesn't use an accurate colour wheel, thought. I'd have liked to have seen a discussion of the red/yellow/blue tradition vs. the Ives colour wheel, which uses magenta/yellow/turquoise as the primaries and is the colour wheel used in printing and fabric.

Very interesting...the color wheel is a great tool...but that is what it is...a tool...I rarely use one when deciding colors for a quilt. I just go with what is pleasing to me. Sometimes after I pick out the colors if I were to get a color wheel out, I can find out what combination of colors I picked out in relationship to the wheel. I think some people do have a good sense of color, and others do really struggle with putting colors together, so a color wheel can help know what color combinations work and why they do.
