I am working my first D9P for either practice or for my DGD. I have 2 borders on it but need it to be around 3" wider.
I don't have any of the frog fabric (bought it in squares off ebay) or I'd use it for the border so I need to choose between the circle design or the yellow. The yellow isn't an exact match for the little yellow squares but since they won't be touching I think it will be fine. Soooooo folks, what's your opinions on the 2 choices -- circles or plain yellow? Of course if anyone has any of the same little frog fabric, I'd be tickled to either buy/trade something for it. I'd need about 1 1/2 yards give or take. The binding and back will be the same green as in the center of the quilt. Thanks for your thoughts.. Give it a sec while I add the 4th picture pretty please :) samples on both sides circle designs for border? Yellow for border? I like the circles, they remind me of water bubbles.

lol..too cute. I like it without a border. I would probably do a very thin yellow border.

I like the yellow best. That frog fabric is wonderful.
|
Circles! So cute!

I like the yellow. But whatever you decide the quilt will be adorable. Can't help you out with the frog fabric but it is very cute!

What adorable frog fabric. Sorry I don't have any to help you out with. Personally I like the yellow border best, although I really like the fabric with the circles but not with this quilt. Either way it is a very cute quilt.

I like the yellow. To me the circles distract me. Just my humble opinion......

as much as i love the circles (reminds me of puddle jumping) I think the yellow pulls the quilt together more.

I like the yellow as well. The circle fabric is cute but too busy for the border.
