Whoo hoo! I got my serger working yesterday! So I made DGD another skirt. She wanted pink & purple so I had some tinkerbelle fabric.
This one is much fuller and I sewed shorts into it too. Disreguard the jammy top she's wearing. Just had to let her have a twirl  |
Cute skirt and even cuter grandaughter.

Thanks, she had just gotten out of the bath tub.

What a cute skirt (and little girl).
I have a serger/cover stitch machine but I've never gotten it out of the box. |
That's adorable. You can tell she loves it. I think the pajama top matches. lol
|
So cute! Do you have directions or a pattern? [I have a DGD that would love it!]
|
Little girls love that kind of skirt!

Love the skirt!
Love the GD - what a cutie!!! Linda |
Those are so cute, the skirt and the little girl.

When you mentioned using your serger I happened to think ,that when my mom made my skirts like that back in the 50s there were no sergers and how she would sew a double seam to keep them from raveling on the under side. Thanks for the memory.
