Many of us, including me, got a warm "Welcome from Ireland" from Ann Clare when we joined this board. I am in Ireland now visiting my daughter so we drove to her home and had a most delightful visit and Irish tea time. I got a private quilt show of some of her many projects and she is indeed a very talented quilter and a woman of many talents. She couldn't show me everything because she gives away much of what she makes! And speaking of generosity, she gave us two adorable dolls to take to the granddaughters, which they love and played with until bedtime tonight. And I am taking back some British and Australian quilt magazines she gave me. Don't we love our quilting board friends? Thanks SO much, Ann Clare.

Just popped to your post to make sure that you arrived home safe and what a surprise I got. I too loved meeting you and had a wonder time. I received beautiful Turnovers and am the envy of my friends as we do not have turnovers here. Am still playing with them. Thank you so much. This is a wonderful board.
