Greetings everyone! I have recently moved to lower Alabama (Daphne area). I would love to find a pal in this area that would like to go fabric shopping, get together to sit n sew, etc. I am 53 yrs old and would love to find someone who likes to visit quilt shops. Hubby is an excellent companion, but does not share my interest in quilting or quilt/fabric shopping. Stands next to me in the fabric store with arms crossed, foot tapping impatiently........lol. Help!

Thanks everyone. I always love shopping with other quilters, it's nice to bounce fabric choices off each other , not to mention the bonus of having friends that share interests. I have considered going shopping by myself, but nearest quilt shop I have heard of is in Pensacola. We just moved here from Iowa so I don't know the area very well. Love living here though. :D
