I have tried to edit the original topic for this quilt but was unable to so I will do a seperate post of the progress so far. Now I have to add the sashing then put the border. Hoping to get that done some time next week.

Only thing missing is Zydeco and Gators, but the craw-dads make the mouth water anyhow.

Nice job! I'm also from Louisiana and have been collecting Louisiana themed fabrics to make a quilt for my son. Mardi Gras, Saints, LSU, ULL, crawfish :-)

I thought about putting the gators but it is for a friend that lives in Fl. and she has TONS of gators there too.....LOL Wish I could find some zydeco fabric....that would be awesome
