Thanks, that such a nice idea. And you don't need a fancy embroidery machine to do that.

i've been recommending this for many years, and it's especially nice on colorful quilts to change the binding color on the area where the embroidery is. but it's nice even on a one-sided quilt.
remember, though, that a well-loved utility quilt will wear out on the binding and when it needs yo be replaced, the information will be lost.
