This is a wonderful place. I have met some great quilters. You will do just fine. Congratulations on doing something for yourself. I had a child get into alcohl/drugs about 23 yrs ago. The counselors kept telling me I needed to do something for my self. I signed up for my 1st class and still having my own personal "therapy". I would not be still going to a counselor. My son is married, and is a wonderful father to 2 precious kids. I love to quilt all aspects and to meet other quilters.

Welcome fellow Arizonian! I got hooked on this board over a year ago and now there is not a day goes by that I get on my laptop to see whats going on. What part of Arizona are you in?

We originally moved here from St. Joseph, Mi. Last year we moved from Peoria, Az to a little town called Waddell.
It's west of Phoenix at the base of the White Tank mountains. Lots of farmland and open fields. We love it.
