I'm sooooo excited, my other half is heading to New York on a short business trip and to my astonishment he has just asked me if I want to join him (Only a guy would have to ask that question!)
Anyway this means that by day he will be saving the world or something and I will shopping in NY :D - so I guess what I'm asking is, can anyone tell me where I can find the best quilting shops in NY? I really want to stock up on new fabrics and Moda precuts, I plan to max out both our luggage allowances! All advice will be very gratefully received. Thanks Yvie |
I would definitely take only one outfit and leave the rest of the room in the suitcase for fabrics  I've been to NYC, but don't know any quilt shops. You might ask if anyone knows any fabric outlets there. I just loved walking the streets of NYC! Have fun.

City Quilter is a nice shop in NYC. But really, this is a golden opportunity to see some spectacular, unforgettable quilts in NY!
It's the Year of the Quilt at the Museumof American Folk Art. There are quilts at their Lincoln Centerlocation and also the museum in midtown. Go and see. You will be drooling and your eyes will pop out of your head. |
here's a guide to fabric shopping in NYC by the famous quilter Paula Nadelstern
