am looking for the hot pepper jelly recipe. a lot of people call it jalapeno jelly. just cant seem to find one. any help greatly appreciated. thanks lorene

Jalapeno Jelly ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 pound bell pepper 1 1/4 cups white vinegar 1/4 pound fresh jalapenos 1/3 cup lemon juice 5 1/2 cups sugar 1 (6-ounce) bottle of certo Grind green pepper and jalapeno peppers in a food grinder.(Or chop in a blender) Add sugar and vinegar. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add lemon juice; bring to a boil. Add Certo and bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute.Pour into hot,sterile jelly jars.Wait 2 weeks before using. Makes 7 half-pint jars. (note: if you would like the jelly to have a green color, add 3 drops of yellow food coloring and 2 drops of blue.

I go to the jelly/jam section of my groc. store and put a jar or two in my cart. Then I proceed to checkout. Easy peasy and good!
