Hi my name is Karen and I live in Flowery Branch, Georgia
I have been a life long sewer and wanted to try quilting. I began by joining a Quilting Ministry at my church (we make prayer quilts for people who are very sick.
I learned the basics there (I still meet with this group two Saturdays a month from 9:30 -until ????)
I decided to take a Beginner's Quilting Class and I am learning SO much. It's great fun and very challenging (for me at least). I am looking forward to making friends, learning more about quilting and sharing!

Isn't quilting great?! I just started this summer and I love it! I can't stop, it feels like a whole new world! I've always wanted to express myself creatively and play with color, but I could never find a hobby that I wanted to stick with through more than one project.
