McCalls Quilting May/June 2011 issue has a quilt called "Wreath of Spring" designed by Jennifer Bosworth.

I decided it was time to try a watercolor quilt. Was nervous about the mitered borders but I think it came out OK. I learned a lot!! So don't look too close!

This one is for a lady named Helga, who is dear to my heart, in honor of her 80th birthday. I hope she will enjoy her birthday bouquet!

Hope you enjoy it too!

That is lovely. I did my first watercolor wallhanging a few years ago and have made several since then...aren't they fun!!!!??? I love choosing the perfect pieces for each element of the design.
