Okay, I've been "lurking" in the background for several months, now I need your help.
At our recent guild meeting the presenter showed a quilt she said was made with the "exploding pineapple block". Does anyone know where I can see a tutorial? I looked on line at Shirley Anne's site and didn't find a tutorial. Thanks for your help. |
I don't think you'll find a tutorial, but you can get the book:

This tutorial looks like your block, except it isn't set on point, and it's a scrappy.
Hope it helps: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-73955-1.htm |
There was one on here called Spanish Butterlies in My Pineapple Shampoo or something like that. There was a ta-doo about the person who originally published a pattern or technique for the Exploding Pineapple block. I found it: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-14958-1.htm

Under tutorials, in the search box type "exploding pineapple", the tutorials will come up for the Quilt as You Go method of the exploding pineapple by Ethel Granger. I still teach this method in my classes. Hope you like it.
