I have been lurking on this site and decided to join, as I am new to machine quilting. I am learning on my own and learning from others from websites and tutorials. I have made a pinwheel quilt with my sisters help over the webcam, but I havent finished it. I am now getting flannel together to make a rag quilt. I do a lot of Machine Emb. and learning that as well. I look forward to learning from all of you. I was told that I should serge my flannel material before washing so it wont fray, can you tell me what stitch I should use on the serger? I know I can zig-zag on the sewing machine, but I thought the serger may be faster. Looking forward to chatting with you.
