Hi, I am very new to quilting and after nearly completing my first wall hanging I realize I have so much to learn. I am hoping I will find lots of tips, tricks and useful tutorials here that will improve the looks of my finished product. I know everyone has to start somewhere but I'm a perfectionist and it's discomforting to see the corners, assembly and quilting on this first project. If anyone can offer any ideas for improvement (besides practice, practice, practice) I would love to hear them. I'm looking forward to meeting others of you that love quilting as I do.

Hello Snowsis!
Welcome from Minnesota! Just hang out on this board for awhile and you will learn a lot about quilting! |
Welcome Snowsis: - browse though this site and you will be amazed on all the help out there. Any questions/subjects just go to search on top of page. A comment on your "perfectionism" - a quilt is hand-made and any flaws are only noticed by you! As in Life - things sometimes cannot be perfect. Just enjoy the process.
