Yes babies......baby chickens to be exact!! Our little banty hen has been sitting on a dozen assorted eggs. They have started to hatch! I haven't seen one yet, but I hear peeps and I hear scratching sounds from the ones trying to get out of the shell.
This is the first time we have had a chicken hatch eggs and we are as excited as kids!!
I'll post pictures when I can get some.....

Not necessarily...I don't know how many will hatch and than how many will be pullets!

How exciting. We had chickens when I was a kid and I was always so excited when eggs would hatch.

My Grandma used to have a saying about May chickens, but I can't remember what it was.
