I have seen 2 1/2", but not smaller. What are you going to do with it that a larger ruler couldn't be used?

there are many different plexiglas templates in various sizes- usually joannes or hobby lobby will have different sizes/shapes - also check on line at Nancy's Notions, Clotilde's, Aunt Annie's Attic, Jenny Beyer's web site.

I have never seen one that small at joannes.

If they don't have one you could always make one out of template plastic.

I think it would be hard to get it perfect. I had some made once and they did a horrible job.

Rhonda on the board that has all the BOM and etc. sent me a plastic set with several sizes of squares. she sends these free. Check out her posts. It's under Round Robins and Swaps topics..

I have made my own 1 and 1 1/2" templates, but find I do a better job of cutting those size squares with the Creative Grids 2 1/2" or 3 1/2" rulers. I have more space to place my fingers for a constant pressure. Also have the 4 1/2. Trickiest part is not losing them :-)

You might try your local glass company. I have had shapes cut out for a few bucks- cheaper than buying quilt templates in the quilt shops.
