I once belonged to a group that was called the Rip and Stitchers. One day one of the members called me. I wasn't home so my husband answered. The caller said, "This is Judy from the quilting bee." He worked on the flight line for 30 years and is slightly hard of hearing. He thought she said, "This is Judy from the Killer Bees."
Needless to say we were the Killer Bees from that time on. Gotta love em.

Our church group is called The Wanna Bees.

We live in a area that has a covered bridge near by. So we are called the Covered Bridge Quilters.

We just formed a group here in Savannah, TN and the name we chose was "Pieceful Quilters". Anyone in the Savannah area that would like to join us, PM me and I'll give you details.
