What do you use for batting? I am making a large lap or small twin size kids quilt. My niece lives in FL. I was thinking it might not make sense to use Warm and Natural for the batting as it might be too warm. I was considering using a flannel sheet. What do you use?

I live in California. I use Warm and Natural. But it gets hotter in Florida, and more humid. I am still sleeping with a quilt on my bed.

If I lived in FL I would have to be in AC so it may not matter!

It gets cold in the winter and some people keep their A/C way down you could use a quilt year around

I live in Arizona (down in the valley) ...its hot..I always use W&N.

I live in FL and usually use Warm & Natural or Quilters Dream. Mostly the Warm & Natural. It can get chilly with the AC on. I use quilts year round. :)

I live in FL and use Warm and Natural ---------not all areas of FL require AC all year :-)

my grandmother used to go to Florida all year long, spend 3 months there, then a month and a half or so in NJ. I used W&N in two quilts for her.

I Live in Louisiana and use my quilts year around.

Warm and natural is perfect. It breathes. Never hot or cold so it works well in our Florida weather. I think a flannel sheet would be nice as well. Use what you like or have on hand.
