I think it's because it had an "s" in the http. Not sure,maybe someone who knows will give us the lowdown.I left out the "s" and it linked.

The S is for secure web pages think those you enter your financial info on. When creating a hyperlink if it doesn't copy over correctly you can highlight the whole line, right click on it and select the hyperlink option (if it brings up another box paste that link in at the bottom and press the ok button)
