Hello, my name is Darlene, I live in upstate New York. I have been browsing this board for several months now and I am getting so much information. I've been a sewer since I was little, but have never gotten into quilting like I have been lately. I've only been making quilts for a year now. The Quilting Board is the first email I open up with my cup of coffee each morning. What an inspiration it is and soooo many ideas.

Hi! I'm new to quilting, less than a year. Living in Tucson,Az. Have some great mentors who patiently assist me as I learn this wonderful craft. I belong to a local quilting group, The Flying Needles in Marana,AZ. Hope to learn lots of tips and tricks from this message board.

Hi, where abouts in California do you live. I have a brother in San Diego who also quilts, and that's how I got inspired to start.

I just retired about a year ago, and there were some days I was really lost, so I got on this site and have been on ever since. Everytime I finish a quilt, whether it be the entire quilt or just a block or even just a top, I'm back on the any quilting site looking for something different. It's like working on a project for a long time and when it's done, you are lost and need to start another project. I think I'm addicted to quilting.
