I have a memory craft 1100 se and love it. I often sew at another location so if i look for another machine I am only going to invest big time again one more time in my life! I would like to stay with the same brand as I think I can use the same feet and bobbins on the same brand. Does anyone have the Janome Horizon or would you reccommend another brand or machine?

Arent they coming out with another embroidery machine soon?

My understanding is that the Memory Craft 1100SE is the newest. The Horizon is a quilting/sewing machine. I don't know if there is a newer quilting machine is coming out

There will be a new embroidery machine this fall, an upgrade to the 11000. Not sure how it will be different or what the name is. My dealer told me to wait til this fall and I could trade in for the new one.

I have the Horizon and love it. However, it's not an embroidery machine and if you want to be able to do embroidery then the Horizon wouldn't suffice.

I have the Horizon and it is a great machine, but no embroidery. Janome is going to release a new embroidery machine, the 12000, this fall. That's what my dealer tells me.
