i just need to know if anyone knows how to do normal quilt blocs(not applique blocks)as applique. i hada book on it once from the library, but i can't remember who it was by? Any help/

I think you are thinking of Pieced Applique by Penny Haren. She does many regular blocks by applique. Cool technique.
